A new Turkish restaurant has opened at Medway Valley Leisure Park.
Turkuaz opened its doors on Friday, 7 June, at the leisure complex in Chariot Way.
It has taken over the former Chiquito restaurant, which closed last May, and underwent a £500,000 refurbishment.

The new-look restaurant features flower walls and special lighting fixtures, new furniture, and an open kitchen.
A range of traditional Turkish cuisine is served, including hot and cold meze, sharing platters, pide (Turkish pizza), wraps and kebabs.
The restaurant also offers drinks such as cocktails, wine, milkshakes and Turkish coffee.

The restaurant’s opening hours are 11am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday.
A statement on Turkuaz’s website read: “Turkuaz brings the authentic flavours of the Mediterranean to Strood.
“Every dish we prepare is a testament to the rich heritage and culinary traditions of the region.
“We take pride in using the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods to ensure every bite is packed with authentic flavours.”
