The Gym Group is opening its second branch in Medway.

The low-cost gym company is set to move into the Bensons for Beds unit at Gillingham Retail Park, off Ambley Road.

A planning application has been submitted requesting permission for the proposed gym use.

The gym will be open 24 hours, seven days a week.

It will offer flexible, contract-free membership and a variety of high-spec equipment, including cardio machines, a weights area and functional training zone.

It will be The Gym Group’s second branch in Medway, following the opening of its Strood gym in September 2017.

The award-winning gym operator has launched more than 230 locations across the UK since it was founded in 2008.

The Gym Group declined to comment.
