A jewellers in a Chatham shopping centre is set to close permanently after more than a decade trading from the spot.

Warren James is closing its branch inside the Pentagon Centre “due to the end of the lease”.

Signs displayed on the shop front’s windows indicate that a closing down sale is now underway.

The established UK retailer offers a range of silver, gold and diamond jewellery, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, chains and more.

It is not yet known how many jobs will be affected or an exact closure date.

The nearest alternative branch is located at Hempstead Valley, Gillingham.

Warren James did not respond to a request for comment.
