Flip Out has shut its trampoline park in Chatham.

The indoor trampoline park, near Dockside Outlet Centre, closed for the final time yesterday (Sunday, 4 February).

It will be replaced by a rock climbing centre for people aged five and above with any level of ability.

Chimera Climbing, which has branches in Canterbury and Tunbridge Wells, will run the new rock climbing centre.

It will have around 1,000 square metres of climbing surface, including a variety of angled walls, training facilities and an outdoor boulder garden.

Flip Out opened in 2016 and its two-storey unit was put up for rent last August.

A Facebook post by Flip Out stated: “It is with a heavy heart we announce that Flip Out Chatham’s last day of operating will be 04th February 2024.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful staff and customers for all your support over the years!”

Chimera Climbing will open this year but a specific date has not yet been revealed.
